T.E.E.S. is a 501(c)(3) organization established to create a secure and positive family environment for youth, where they can build trust, self-respect, and acquire skills to lead productive lives free from peer pressure, gangs, and drugs. Over time, we have broadened our mission to support both youth and the wider community by hosting events across the nation that address social, educational, and housing issues. Our initiatives promote social justice and awareness, enhance educational achievement, and provide workforce housing. Our mission is to empower youth and the community to achieve their aspirations and improve their quality of life. In 2018, T.E.E.S. launched the Community First Fund in response to the devastation caused by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. The fund's mission is to assist families during crises, such as unexpected life tragedies, job losses, or natural disasters. Though initially created for hurricane relief, the fund has also provided crucial support during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since its inception, the fund has distributed over $1 million in rent, mortgage, utility, and financial assistance, as well as groceries and essential items to families in Houston, South Florida, and most recently, North Carolina.
