Some of the best events and festivals in all of Florida happen in Miami. Celebrating everything from art to music, Miami festivals are always amazing, and the Overtown Music & Arts Festival is a brilliant example of what this city has to offer.
You can’t discuss the history of Miami without taking a detour into Overtown. The neighborhood, one of Miami's oldest, was created in the early 1900s for Miami’s black population, who were allowed limited—if any—access to other parts of the city. Story By Ryan Pfeffer
